Alexa Hill is a fine jewelry studio creating one-of-a-kind and bespoke pieces with natural colored gemstones. Designed and handmade between Washington, DC and Southeast Asia. Each piece is a modern heirloom shaped by traditional craftsmanship, remarkable stones, and a sense of discovery — made to mark a milestone and become part of your everyday life.
The Bespoke Process
Meet with Alexa to discuss the vision, milestone, or memory behind your piece, along with your design preferences, timeline, and investment. Your consultation gives Alexa everything she needs to begin shaping a direction that feels distinctly yours.
You’ll receive a carefully edited selection, with guidance on the color, character, rarity, and qualities that make each stone distinctive.
Once your stone is selected, Alexa develops the design around your stone and shares a detailed rendering for your review. Together, we’ll refine the details before approving the piece for production.
Your approved design is brought to life by skilled artisans in Malaysia using traditional fine-jewelry techniques. Each piece is fabricated, set, finished, and inspected by hand before making its way to you. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece created for this chapter of your life—and every chapter still to come.
The full bespoke process typically takes 6-10 weeks. If you have a different timeline in mind we’ll do our best to accommodate.

My experience with AHJ is truly bespoke. I was able to send inspiration for a relatively simple bracelet design, and Alexa worked to secure the perfect stone and best quality metals despite it being a small project. It’s now one of my favorite pieces and I’m excited to make it a part of my heirloom collection.
A Note from Alexa
I discovered my love for colored gemstones while wandering the gemstone markets of Southeast Asia on a whim. I was struck by how one small stone could hold so much: a color, a place, the memory of discovering it. I still approach every piece that way. As a story entrusted to me, made to last far beyond the moment that inspired it.
